“It’s way more fun than I thought it would be,” exclaimed Isabelle Larimer, the new customer service representative at LaGrange County REMC, when asked about the best part of her job. Larimer joined the co-op team in late January.
Larimer is a Lakeland High School graduate and is currently taking online classes through Indiana University, majoring in labor studies. A farm girl at heart, she has enjoyed learning the multiple processes it takes to help members get the most out of their co-op. She misses driving tractors on the farm, but she has brought a light-hearted presence to the front office.
Being a people pleaser, she said the most difficult part of the job so far is “when a member calls in and asks something that I can’t help with.”
In what little spare time she has, Larimer enjoys spending time with her dachshund, Hazel, and is looking forward to taking her on walks this summer. Larimer lives in Howe. Help us welcome Isabelle to the co-op!
