A Sense monitor is a device installed on a home’s electrical panel that detects and records energy use in real time. Boone REMC owns several Sense monitors and offers members three free months of use of the device.
The monitor uses sensors that read the electrical current over 1 million times each second. Machine learning technology uses that data to determine what devices are on and off.
Our energy advisor installs the device for you and uses the data to help you better understand how you are consuming electricity and how you can conserve.
