Findlay Market is Ohio’s oldest continuously operated public market and one of Cincinnati’s most cherished institutions, welcoming more than a million visitors a year. Located just
blocks from downtown in Over-the-Rhine, a dense historic neighborhood rich in 19th century architecture, Findlay Market remains the bustling center of farm fresh, locally sourced, artisanal and specialty foods. Open Tuesday through Sunday year-round, Findlay Market is home to more than 40 indoor merchants selling meat, fish, poultry, produce, flowers, cheese, deli and ethnic foods. On weekends from April through November, the market also hosts a thriving farmers market, dozens of outdoor vendors, numerous street performers and lots of special events.
Indiana State fair: Aug. 8

Laid out over 250 acres, the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center is home to the Indiana State Fair. Join the REMC on this fun trip to the fair. Be sure to have good walking shoes!
My old kentucky dinner train/1792 Barton Distillery: Nov. 2
Leave Corydon at 9:30 a.m. and return at 6 p.m. (No Edwardsville pick-up.) ● Cost: TBD
All aboard! The train travels a 37-mile round trip excursion. My Old Kentucky Dinner train travels North through Bernheim Forest and the Jim Beam distillery property to Limestone Springs and back. This lunch excursion includes a three-course meal. We will then head to the Barton Distillery for a free tour.

Here we go again! We’ re headed down to one of our favorite places in Nashville, Tennessee! Be ready to shop ’til you drop! Comfortable shoes also a must on this trip.
A minimum of 30 people is required for each trip. Payment is due three weeks before the scheduled trip with the exception of My Old Kentucky Dinner Train. Pick-up locations are Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon and Edwardsville UM Church in Edwardsville. No refunds will be issued after ticket is purchased unless the REMC cancels the trip.
