Can you spare some time for your co-op?

KV REMC’s board of directors is looking for fellow member-consumers to serve on the board. Petitions are available now.

At the upcoming Member Appreciation and Annual Business Meeting event on Sept. 28, the membership will vote for two seats on the board of directors.  

To be eligible to apply, you must reside in one of the areas mentioned below:

District 4: Davis, Center, Oregon, Washington and North Bend townships in Starke County and Union and West townships in Marshall County

The At-Large Position: Any area served by KV REMC

KV REMC directors are all elected for a three-year term. Serving on the board of directors is a commitment of time and responsibility. Beyond the monthly meetings, directors are encouraged to attend training, special events and state and national meetings. Directors do earn a per diem and receive travel compensation reimbursement.  

To be placed on the election ballot, candidates are required to attend a directorship meeting June 27 at 6 p.m. at KV REMC.
