Southern Indiana Power wouldn’t exist without our members. That’s because YOU are our cooperative.
But, have you ever wondered, why should I attend the annual meeting?
Here are three great reasons:
- It’s fun!
- It’s free!
- It’s all about you!
Join us on April 17, at 5 p.m. at the Spencer County 4-H Youth and Community Center for fun, food and the opportunity to share in our special community. We have plenty of activities, so let your kids and the kid-in-you enjoy some well-deserved time off. We will have inflatables and pony rides for the kids, as well as bingo and blood pressure checks provided by Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center for the adults. Don’t forget that you’ll have time to converse with friends and eat great food!
The cooperative staff has been busy preparing for the meeting. We will be giving cash prizes, and for the kids, we will have two sets of four tickets to Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari Water Park.
Participate
More importantly, the Southern Indiana Power annual meeting is a great time to speak with your cooperative staff and board members about what’s on your mind. It’s your chance to have a voice in how your cooperative is run. You elect directors from the membership to represent you on the cooperative board.
What does this mean? The members always come first!
Every one of us at Southern Indiana Power is absolutely dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community.
From all your friends and neighbors at Southern Indiana Power, we hope to see you at the annual meeting!
