PPEC’s Member Appreciation Day is planned for Saturday, July 28. Members are invited to attend this event at the Paulding County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is a fun family event with bouncy houses and carnival games. We’ll also be showcasing what the electric co-op has to offer.
Members will receive a FREE lunch and have the opportunity to enter a drawing for FREE electricity for 1 month (up to $300). A girl’s and boy’s bike (two total) will also be raffled off.
Our experienced staff will conduct a live wire demo that explains the dangers of electricity. This demo explains what to do if you are in a car accident and power lines are down.
Safety and Compliance Manager Dee Renollet has been conducting this demonstration for years at local schools and for emergency personnel, and it always resonates well. If you ask local students, it’s a fan favorite.
PPEC’s Energy Advisor Peter Niagu will be offering demonstrations with the PPEC energy bike. If you have questions when it comes to energy efficiency, he can definitely help.
More information will be provided in our June issue of the magazine, or you can also follow us on social media for updates.
