MARSHALL COUNTY FIBER
Marshall County Fiber connected over 650 new customers in 2024! Although the main buildout is nearing completion, we are considering expanding to additional areas throughout the county. We need your help!
We’re mapping out interest in fiber service — imagine speeds built to last. Show your support and help us bring it to your area! Call 574-223-2191, visit marshallfiber.com, or fill out an interest form at Marshall County REMC’s office.
MARSHALL COUNTY FAIR
About 350 members participated in the member appreciation events during the Marshall County Fair this year. We appreciate all our members who take the time to read the monthly Indiana Connection magazine. This magazine is an outlet where we can directly communicate REMC events and news with you, our members!
The Marshall County REMC fair voucher will be included in the Indiana Connection magazine again in 2025. The only difference is that it will be included in the June edition instead of July. Many members did not receive their magazine in time, and we want to accommodate them accordingly.
The fair voucher will be required to participate in member appreciation events in 2025.
If you have any questions about the Indiana Connection magazine or the Marshall County REMC member appreciation events at the Marshall County Fair, please contact the REMC office at 574-936-3161.
NEW BOARD MEMBERS
In the 2024 Director Election, Marshall County REMC board member Robin Roberts was re-elected for a second term, and Melinda Overmyer was elected to join the board. She is currently serving her first term.
An REMC board member represents the interests and values of his/her fellow REMC members and helps make important decisions that impact all REMC members, such as company policies, electric rates, community involvement, and future plans.
Board members are men and women dedicated to their cooperative, who give their time and energy to put Marshall County REMC in the best position to succeed for years to come.
In April, members will vote to elect incumbents or new members to the Marshall County REMC board.
More details on the 2025 election are coming soon!
