DCREMC has added a communications and marketing intern to the team in accordance with our strategic plan and focus on member engagement. While this opportunity was originally budgeted for spring/summer 2020, it was delayed due to COVID. We are excited for the opportunity to fulfill this commitment to support our strategic initiatives and educate our youth about cooperative career opportunties.  

Christopher Cole Bennett is a senior at Xavier University in Cincinnati, majoring in communications, English and philosophy. A Decatur County native, he spent his youth fishing and playing baseball and basketball. Bennett also worked with modeling and talent agency Heyman Talent through which he had the opportunity to work with brands such as Kroger and Proctor & Gamble. 

Bennett enjoys being outdoors with his four Huskie dogs and loves to hunt and fish. One of his favorite activities includes fencing with the Xavier University fencing team. He also loves snowboarding and livestreaming, and is an avid fan of video games. Bennett loves being part of a team and working toward a common goal. He enjoys learning about other cultures to help expand his understanding of the world and its diversity.  

Bennett is excited for this internship opportunity with Decatur County REMC and looks forward to serving the members and community.
