After living and working in the great state of Texas, Shannon Ruschel recently returned to Ohio. For many years, she worked in the oil and gas industry doing contract analysis and customer relations. Now, she’s returned to her hometown, Paulding, and will be working as a third-generation employee of Paulding Putnam Electric Co-op.

“Working at PPEC has reminded me of why I moved home — fantastic, hard-working, salt-of-the-earth people who truly care about their friends and neighbors,” Ruschel said. “As I continue to settle in at PPEC, I look forward to understanding the big picture of what goes into being a part of keeping the ‘lights on’ in Paulding County and the surrounding area.”

As far as hobbies, Ruschel said she enjoys participating in her Bible study, working out, ballroom dancing and “playing as much golf and euchre as humanly possible!”
