Lions and tigers and giraffes, oh my! More than 3,000 members and families made their way to the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo on Aug. 3 for the largest member appreciation day event in co-op history. One of our principles, “Cooperation Among Cooperatives” was in action, as it was a joint event held with neighboring Malinta-based co-op Tricounty Rural Electric. They had nearly 500 members in attendance.
“Thanks to our members for taking time out of their busy lives to join us and celebrate what makes us co-ops different from other utilities.”
— Randy Price, PPEC CEO
Members who attended received free zoo entry, ice cream treats, unlimited rides and a cooler bag, along with other swag. A full photo gallery is available on PPEC’s Facebook page (Facebook.com/Paulding.Putnam.EC). Scan the QR code to see more photos!
