This year, Clark County REMC created a new scholarship to honor our dear friend, late employee Cindy Hockensmith. The $2,500 scholarship will be awarded each year to a student who will be attending a college or university in the state of Indiana. Determining this year’s recipient of the Cindy Hockensmith Memorial Scholarship was a difficult decision as there were nearly 40 qualified applicants. 

The recipient of this year’s scholarship is Madison Myers of New Albany High School. She will be attending Oakland City University in the fall and will major in biology. After graduation she plans to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. Congratulations, Madison! Clark County REMC wishes you the best as you pursue your educational goals.
