Pole treating begins this spring
To help maintain high quality and reliable service while delivering electricity to our members, Southern Indiana Power conducts several annual preventative maintenance programs.
One such measure is utility pole inspection and treatment. Southern Indiana Power contracts with a company to treat utility poles in a rotating cycle. Crews from Geoforce will be in the Dale, Mariah Hills, Fulda and St. Meinrad areas for approximately three months, beginning in April through June. They will inspect and treat approximately 3,000 poles in this cycle.
Energy Assistance Program deadline
Participants in the Energy Assistance Program are reminded that the moratorium on disconnection for nonpayment ends March 15. Accounts assisted by EAP must be brought up to date before then or they may be disconnected the following day. If you have questions about your account, please call the office before March 15.
