Operation Round Up grants accepted next month
The time of the year when we accept new grant applications is quickly approaching.
Operation Round Up is simply what the name implies. Southern Indiana Power just “rounds up” the electric bill of participating members to the next highest dollar. All Operation Round Up donations are placed in a trust and administered by an independent board of trustees operating on behalf of the SIREC Community Trust Inc.
The fund is used to benefit people and organizations such as senior citizen programs and other community service projects. Grant applications will be accepted from Aug. 1 through Sept. 15. Start thinking about your application now so you won’t be delayed!

We would like to congratulate Carol Frields for being picked as our $50 bill credit winner for returning our annual meeting survey!
Independence Day closing
The employees and directors of Southern Indiana Power wish you a safe and happy Fourth of July. Our office will be closed Wednesday, July 4.

Tree trimming crews are currently in the Newtonville substation area. They have started near Corn Island Shipyard and are working toward the substation. Once complete, crews will be moving from the substation toward the Chrisney area. Spray crews are currently in the Tell City area and will continue to work in this area through the beginning of August.
