Our Operation Round Up grants were recently issued, and your spare change is doing more great work in our communities! A total of 13 grants were issued this quarter.

  • The Little Cousin Jasper Festival was awarded funds to assist in hosting this year’s festival.
  • A grant was awarded to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry to help purchase a walk-in cooler and freezer.
  • The General Van Rensselaer Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution received funds to purchase wreaths in remembrance of veterans.
  • Funds were granted to the Tri-County Summer Meals Program to help provide meals to students over the summer.
  • The Remington Carpenter Township Public Library received a grant to help provide English classes to area Hispanic adults.
  • GracePoint Resource Center was awarded funds to help fund their counseling programs.
  • A grant was awarded to the Rensselaer Regional Soccer Club to help purchase pop-up goals.
  • The Fendig Theatre for Children was awarded a grant to assist with the costs associated with the summer production.
  • West Central High School/Middle School FCCLA was awarded funds to help students attend a national competition in July.
  • Funds were granted to Jasper County Public Library to purchase prizes for the summer reading program.
  • Kankakee Valley Schools were awarded two grants. The Middle School will use funds to help the robotics team attend competitions. The KVHS Technology Student Association received funds to help purchase new equipment.
  • Max Duttlinger was awarded funds to assist in costs associated with attending a National Leadership Conference.
