Operation Round Up grants issued

Our Operation Round Up grants were issued recently and your spare change is doing more great work in our communities! A total of eight grants were issued this quarter.

Funds were granted to the Tri-County Junior/Senior High School to help cover student costs associated with participation in Business Professionals of America (BPA).

Rensselaer Central schools received a total of four grants. Rensselaer Central Primary School received grants for the Reading Eggs Program in kindergarten classrooms, and funds for ELM (Early Learning Matters) materials in the pre-k classrooms. Rensselaer Central Intermediate Schools received funds to help with the Brag Tag program and to purchase Young Hoosier books for third through fifth-grade classrooms.

Iroquois Archery and Conservation Club was awarded grant funds to help build additional storage for equipment used for their youth programs.

Funds were awarded to Angels Wrapped in Love to aid in the purchase of program supplies.

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 440 received a grant to help purchase wreaths to be placed on veteran graves as a part of the Wreaths Across America program.
