Learn more at upcoming member event

Boone REMC hosts three Member Advisory Committee (MAC) meetings each year to provide an opportunity for our members to learn about their electric cooperative or the electric industry and to share feedback with the board of directors and employees.

At our next MAC meeting, members can learn more about the history of the Operation Round Up program and its impact on the communities we serve.

Join us at the newly opened Whitestown branch of the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (a recent recipient of a Round Up grant) on the evening of Tuesday, June 18, to celebrate the program nearing $1 million in community support since it began in 2006.

Light dinner will be provided beginning at 6 p.m. Attendees can take a tour of the new library between 6 and 6:30 p.m., and the presentation will start at 6:30 p.m. You will hear from former and current Operation Round Up board trustees, learn more about the grant funding process, and be part of a special celebration of one of our seven cooperative principles, Concern for Community.

We kindly ask that you RSVP online by June 13 at bremc.com/mac-registration.
