Isabella Pittman attends Miller City High School and is the daughter of Nicholas and Lynda Pittman of Ottawa. Mallorie Maag attends Ottawa-Glandorf High School and is the daughter of Barry and Brenda Maag of Ottawa. Both have earned a spot on Youth Tour, an all-expenses-paid, weeklong trip to Washington, D.C., with 1,600 electric cooperative high school students from around the nation, to visit some of the capital’s most famous sites and meet congressional representatives.

The annual leadership trip takes place in June and is not your average trip to the capital. This resume-boosting experience is unforgettable, and past delegates have told us the impact is indescribable (including the friendships they forged). High school sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply starting in December each year.

Trent Gibson of Miller City was selected as the delegate alternate this year. He attends Miller City High School and is the son of Louise and Timothy Johnston and Glenn Gibson.
