Clark County REMC, in a cooperative effort with the safety and training team at Hoosier Energy, offered employees the chance to become emergency responders.
An emergency responder is a person with specialized training who is among the first to arrive and provide assistance at the scene of an emergency.
The program was intensive and included 52 hours of training and testing. The certified responders will continue training to keep their state certification. We are proud to have a total of 15 emergency responders on our team.
