We recently conducted a cost-of-service study and found we need to implement a slight rate adjustment of around $3 per residential member starting next month.

How does the rate adjustment impact you?

Residential members will see their basic monthly service charge increase from $29.50 to $32.95. However, your energy charges will go down. This will result in a $3 per month increase on your overall bill.

Commercial and industrial rates will also be adjusted slightly. Your monthly bill will vary depending on your demand charge. PPEC hasn’t had a rate increase in over four years, and we still don’t take this rate adjustment lightly. We have done everything possible to minimize its impact on you, our member-owners. However, to continue providing reliable and high-quality service, we must implement this revision, which will take place next month.
