At Clark County REMC, we work hard to minimize increases in our electric rates. While virtually all aspects of today’s cost of living continue to rise, we pride ourselves on avoiding routine price adjustments. We believe that reliable electric service at a reasonable price is something our members should be able to count on.

Even with our continuing efforts to prevent a change in your electric rates, it is necessary for us to implement a modest rate increase of approximately 4.2 percent, which will be effective with the February 2022 bill statements. This rate increase considers all the cost pressures the REMC has experienced in its operations. REMC completed a cost-of-service study this year and found it was necessary for us to increase our electric rates. The last general rate increase was in May 2017.
