Cobb Salad Dip
Cobb Salad Dip Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 strips bacon
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 cup bleu cheese crumbles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 T. hot sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lemon
- 4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 4 plum tomatoes, chopped
- 2 Romaine hearts, leaves washed, dried and separated
Directions
Cook bacon in olive oil. Drain and crumble. In a medium bowl, mix together bleu cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, salt and pepper. In another bowl, mash avocados with juice of the lemon and add salt to taste.
In a small-medium glass bowl, layer sour cream mixture, eggs, avocado mixture, tomatoes and bacon crumbles. Serve with romaine leaves.
