Ice Cream Roll
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup cold water
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup cocoa
- 2 t. baking powder
- ¼ t. salt
- 1 t. vanilla
- Powdered sugar
- Ice cream
Directions
Mix all ingredients, except ice cream, well. Bake in a sheet pan lined with wax paper at 400 F for 12 to 15 minutes. Place cake on wax paper sprinkled with powdered sugar. Roll in a towel. When completely cool, unroll cake and spread with ice cream. Roll up and place in freezer overnight.
Editor’s note: We garnished the Ice Cream Roll with chocolate shavings, chocolate syrup and strawberries before serving.
