In honor of Earth Day, members can bring specific items to the office to be recycled or documents to be shredded on Friday, April 20, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Recycling reduces the amount of hazardous waste that is generated in our landfills.
Only the following items will be accepted:

- Cables
- CDs
- Cell phones
- Circuit boards
- Computers
- Consumer electronics
- Game consoles
- Ink and toner cartridges
- IT equipment
- Keyboards
- Laptops
- Computer mice
- Modems
- Monitors
- MP3 players
- Network equipment
- Personal documents
- Phone systems
- Printers
- Routers
- Satellite boxes
- Servers
- Speakers
- Switches
- Telecom equipment
- UPS units
- Video games
- Wire
- Small appliances
No tube TVs, vacuums, microwaves or newspapers will be accepted. The REMC has the right to restrict what members bring for recycling or shredding.
