As detailed in May’s Indiana Connection, Kankakee Valley REMC’s contractor will be spraying this month along our rights-of-way. The work is being done by The Daltons, Inc.

If you would prefer to maintain the right-of-way adjacent to your land yourself, here are three things we ask you to do.

Post a sign on the right-of-way at each end of your property that reads, “NO SPRAYING”. Make sure it’s legible and visible from the roadway.

Make sure all the brush is removed within the right-of-way by June 14 and continues to be maintained. If the brush is not removed, we must treat the brush.
