Clark County REMC’s Clint Schroeder recently graduated from the Hoosier Energy Apprentice Training and Safety (HEATS) program. Seventeen men received diplomas marking the completion of 8,000 hours of on-the-job training, coupled with 576 hours of classroom instruction. The academic commitment requiring multiple tests and classes earn each student an associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College. Each year, a special award is presented to the graduate earning the highest GPA in the class, and this year’s award was presented to Schroeder. Congratulations, Clint!
