Spend a day in the Indiana Senate on Jan. 23 with students from electric cooperatives all over the state. Deadline to apply is Jan. 11.

youth tour to Washington, d.c.

Students who will be high school seniors in the fall of 2019 can apply for this trip of a lifetime to our nation’s capital. The Indiana delegation will meet in Indianapolis on June 13 before traveling to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and to the Flight 93 9/11 Memorial. They will then head to Washington, D.C., for a week of sightseeing and tours. Students will return to Indianapolis on June 20.

touchstone energy camp

Students who will enter seventh grade in fall 2019 can apply for a chance to attend Touchstone Energy Camp at Camp Tecumseh, June 5-8. Students will experience zip lining, swimming, horseback riding and archery, in addition to learning about electric safety and the electric co-ops play in our communities.

scholarships

Orange County REMC offers six $750 scholarships — one for a graduating senior from each local high school (Paoli, Springs Valley, Orleans, Mitchell, Crawford and West Washington).

Deadline to apply for all student programs (except Page Day) is Feb. 15.
