“The holidays.” I love everything about this time of year.

The holiday season makes me smile and evokes a sense of comfort and well-being. Recalling family gatherings and traditions when my mom, dad, and grandparents were still here on this earth warms my heart and fills my senses. Now that I am the grandpa, the holidays are a great time for reflection. I’m very grateful for my own family as well as my cooperative family.

At Southern Indiana Power, we’re driven by a sense of mission and purpose. Our team feels a strong connection to our families, community, and our members because we work and live here, too.

PROGRAMS TO HELP YOU

We have several programs and services to help our members year-round.

• The SmartHub app empowers you to monitor, manage and pay your energy bill conveniently through your phone. It also allows you to report outages 24/7. Our energy efficiency rebates can save you money and can help lower your bill.

• Operation Round Up helps the communities we serve. By simply choosing to “round up” your energy bills to the next whole dollar amount, you can help others right here in our community. Through members’ generous donations since 2006, we’ve been able to give $547,323.00 to those in need. As I look back on this year, I’m grateful for so many wonderful community partners and for the positive impact we can continue to make on our own community.
