One hundred seniors-to-be from throughout Indiana took a once in a lifetime trip to Washington, D.C., in June.

Three local students from southern Indiana attended the Indiana Youth Tour on June 7-14. Southern Indiana Power’s representatives were Chase Beckort (Tell City High School), Nicole Cash (Heritage Hills High School), and Janna Neyenhaus (Perry Central High School).

Students participated in a youth rally hosted by the National Rural Electric Association and spent the day on Capitol Hill, where they had the opportunity to meet with Indiana’s congressional delegation to ask questions about key issues. The week-long trip included many other historical sites and museums.
