Boone REMC would like to personally invite you to the Boone REMC 2022 Annual Meeting! The event will take place on April 9, 2022, at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds from 8 am. to noon. The event will remain in the drive-through format with a business meeting starting at 11:30 a.m. 

Members can drive through Boone REMC Hall, and then, stay after if they wish to attend our business meeting in our newly sponsored building right next door in what was once the Rabbit and Poultry Barn. The building is now called the Boone Cooperative Advantage Building.

You will have an opportunity to meet your board of directors and employees, pick up fun giveaway items, receive bill credits, and get a voucher for Titus donuts.

Scholarships are available

Don’t forget – if you have a child who will be enrolled full-time in college or technical school for the 2022-23 school year, we have scholarship drawings at the annual meeting. The application is easy to complete. The application can be downloaded at www.bremc.com and emailed to kshields@bremc.com. This year, we are awarding 15 $500 scholarships. We will do a live drawing on Facebook, so people can tune in virtually if they wish.

Vote for directors

Because we are a democratically controlled organization, an election is held each year to select members to serve on the board of directors. At the 2022 annual meeting, you’ll have the opportunity to elect directors to represent districts 7, 8, and 9.

We look forward to seeing you on April 9 at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds! Don’t forget to bring your registration card that should be arriving soon in the mail. Each card is printed with a personal barcode for quick and easy registration at the meeting. Members who can’t attend the meeting are still encouraged to fill out the ballot, drop it in the mail, and claim their $20 bill credits.
