Adding a few cents to your energy bill can flip a switch to improve lives and communities.

In April 2024, Tipmont distributed over $8,000 in grants from its Operation Round Up and EnviroWatts programs. These grants funded child reading initiatives, accessible seating at an arts facility, and trash cleanup activities in the communities we serve.

OPERATION ROUND UP

Round up your monthly Tipmont electric bill to the nearest dollar. Your tax-deductible average annual contribution of $6 benefits such area nonprofit efforts as:

  • Books for the Montgomery County Extension Homemakers to use in their First Books program, which makes reading enjoyable for young children and prepares them to meet state-mandated reading levels.

Comfortable, accessible patio chairs and weather-resistant picnic tables for the Red Barn Summer Theatre in Frankfort, offering seating for limited-mobility patrons from Montgomery and Tippecanoe counties.

SUPPORT THE ENVIROWATTS PROGRAM!

Add just one cent per kilowatt-hour to your monthly Tipmont electric bill (with a $5 monthly maximum). You will support such local sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental-improvement efforts as:

Bags distributed by Friends of Sugar Creek to Sugar Creek paddlers. This enhances awareness of creek debris and litter while encouraging paddlers to pick up trash.
