“If you’re going to do something right, do it right the first time so you don’t have to do it a second time.” That advice from his grandpa, Lexie Patrick, is the motto that LaGrange County REMC’s newest team member, Nick Patrick, lives by.

Patrick joined the co-op in February as a tree-trimmer/groundman after working with the LaGrange County Highway Department for four years.

Currently residing in LaGrange (with wife Stacy of 10 years and their two sons, Caliber and Gatlin) and having graduated from Lakeland Jr./Sr. High School, Patrick has his roots firmly planted in the area. 

“Everyone has been extremely helpful and are very positive. I can see this as a place I’d like to retire from,” said Patrick. 

Patrick has enjoyed getting to meet everybody and likes learning new things every day. He has no problem asking questions and the guys have no problem giving him guidance. Patrick values that his co-workers are “a tight group and work very well together. If you’re not having fun at work, it’s not worth it.”

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his friends and family whether it be while hunting, fishing, camping, or playing poker.
