Jessica Noblitt is Working for You. As the Accounting Specialist, Jessica has been with Clark County REMC for 2 years. Before coming to the REMC, Jessica worked at Jay C in Sellersburg as the Assistant Store Manager. When asked what she enjoys most about her job at REMC, she stated, “I love the people that I work with. We are a family and help each other out to get the job accomplished. Every decision that is made is always with our members in mind.”
Growing up in a military family, Jessica and her family moved around often before settling in Henryville when she was 12 years old. Jessica and her husband Chris, of 8 years, moved to the Scottsburg area once they were married. They are currently looking to move back to Henryville to be closer to family. Jessica and Chris have two boys; Bryson is 5 years old and Brayden is 2 ½. The Noblitt family enjoys spending as much time together as possible. They love being outside riding bikes, swimming, chasing bubbles or playing at the playground. They cherish every moment they have together.
According to Jessica, her biggest inspiration has come from her parents. She has always looked up to her parents for guidance and support. They have taught her to live her dreams and have been her biggest cheerleaders. Jessica went through a very difficult time in her life 3 years ago when her father passed away due to cancer. She has relied on her mom and siblings for strength and support. There is not a day that goes by that Jessica and her family doesn’t think of their dad. “Watching my mom lose her best friend and husband of 31 years was one of the hardest things to do. She continues to amaze me as she grows through the loss. I am thankful to have her in my life and blessed to call her my mom and best friend,” stated Jessica.
As a family, their favorite place to vacation is in Destin, Florida. Jessica’s family has made this an annual trip over the past 10 years. The annual trip includes her mother, siblings and their children. The time spent together and the memories that are made last a lifetime.
When it comes to sports, Jessica and Chris enjoy watching football and basketball as long as their teams aren’t playing against each other. Jessica roots for the Kentucky Wildcats and Chris cheers on the IU Hoosiers. If the Wildcats and Hoosiers play against each other Jessica and Chris would watch the game in different rooms. “It has been a very peaceful home the last few years since our teams haven’t competed against each other,” stated Jessica.
An avid church member, Jessica and her family have been members of Safe Harbor Christian Church in Memphis since 2004. Her membership first began by helping with the youth and has since transitioned into working in the nursery after having her two boys. She loves being a role model for the children and especially enjoys reading Bible stories to them.
Jessica’s willingness to jump in at any moment to help where she is needed and her consistent smiling face is such a joy to have at the REMC. We hope that you enjoy getting to know the employees of Clark County REMC and remember that Jessica Noblitt is Working For You.
