4-H Program Reimbursement
Kankakee Valley REMC would like to pay for your child’s 2020-21 4-H program fees.
The reimbursement is only available to youth whose parents or guardians are KV REMC member-consumers. A maximum of three program fees will be reimbursed per family. The reimbursement form can be found at kvremc.com under the community programs tab and then youth programs.
Reimbursement requests must be submitted by Aug. 2. Paid receipts and reimbursement forms can also be submitted by mail to KV REMC or email to asteeb@kvremc.com.
Operation Round Up Scholarship
High school seniors planning to continue their education at a college or university in the fall of 2021 are encouraged to apply for an Operation Round Up scholarship. Two $2,000 and four $1,000 scholarships are available. Only students whose parents or guardians are Kankakee Valley REMC member-consumers and have been participating in Operation Round Up since Feb. 3, 2021, are eligible to apply.
The scholarship application requirements include an essay, letters of recommendation and a completed application identifying your school and extracurricular activities. Scholarship applications and guidelines are available when visiting kvremc.com or requesting an application through your school counselor.
Applications are due into the Kankakee Valley REMC office by March 3 at 3:30 p.m. CST. Acceptable forms of submission include by mail or dropped in the night deposit box at KV REMC. Applications that are postmarked but do not arrive until after March 3 will not be accepted.
