Clark County REMC congratulates the 2019 winners of the Indiana Electric Cooperatives Youth Tour to Washington, D.C., scheduled for June 13-20. Indiana’s electric cooperatives will send a delegation of over 100 students from throughout the state on the trip. 

While on the tour, students will learn about cooperatives and our government, and visit places such as the Indiana Statehouse, Gettysburg National Park, Arlington National Cemetery, along with national monuments and museums. Delegates will also visit Capitol Hill to meet with members of the Indiana congressional delegation.

More than 1,600 students from 47 states travel to D.C. for the week-long experience. We wish them a safe trip and can’t wait to hear about their experiences.
